RHS Foundation Kick-off Jumpstarts Endowment
RHS Band Greets Guests
Thanks to everyone who was a part of our Roosevelt Foundation Kick-off on October 16, 2003! It was a powerful evening not only for its fundraising results, but for the grand time had by all who joined us on the blustery October night.
Tables Decorated with RHS Memorabilia
The generous financial support provided by the 400 participants at the Kick-off has launched this very important endowment fund with strength and momentum. Donations and pledges totaled nearly $300,000! The Foundation Board members are awed by the incredible ties so many people have to Roosevelt High School.
The Steering Committee is still awestruck at the incredible ties so many people have to Roosevelt High School. It was a very powerful evening not only for its fundraising results, but for the grand time had by all who joined us on the blustery October night.
Lisa Kodama, Principal 2001-2003
Roosevelt alumni ran into former classmates, as well as parents and siblings of friends and neighbors. Many enjoyed seeing teachers and principals they hadn't seen in decades. Current families, teachers, and community friends were swept up in the green and gold blanket of Roughrider spirit and community.
Hugh Millen RHS '81, Master of Ceremonies
The Roosevelt Band and Cheerleaders welcomed guests arriving at the Museum of Flight. Bassetti Architects brought drawings of the planned renovation of Roosevelt, which is to be completed in 2006. McCormack & Schmick catered the event; tables were gaily decorated with RHS colors, alumni photos, and memorabilia.

Kick-Off participants are not only our Founding Donors, but will serve as our ambassadors. We are counting on them to share our enthusiasm for the future with others interested in keeping Roosevelt High School a strong part of our community.
